Flank steak with wife's churrasco. We're into portion control as our New Year's resolution, trying to shed a few pounds gained by the recipes of previous entries.
Medium rare-ish, of course. I love flank for it's ability to take marinades so well and lend itself to any tasty concoction.
Today was the kind of day I love living in the northeast for - mid 40's, sunny, crisp and clear. Perfect grilling weather, especially when the steak is on for all of 7 minutes. I did a grill burn-off just to prepare for coming months of more grill time. Doesn't matter what Punxsutawney Phil says...
